Maciej Iwaniszewski
I have worked in information technology since 2010. My work concerns applications of artificial intelligence in science and culture, as well as applications of artificial intelligence beyond these sectors.
In my work I combine technology with a human perspective. I complement the analysis of what a system can do with the questions of whom it should serve, in what context and with what consequences.
On this site I publish studies from my ongoing work: measurements of metadata quality, evaluations of language and vision models, and analyses of workflows in cultural and research institutions.
I hold master’s degrees in economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, in cultural anthropology from the Jagiellonian University and in photography from the Institute of Creative Photography (ITF) at the Silesian University in Opava.
